Robust Design is a method to achieve a suitable baseline design by using advanced tool. LabelMover tool suite allows this approach in finite elements analysis field.

"Serial Analysis" tool is the natural process to determine the influence of parameters by sweeping on a specific domain of values. The steps are given by the users. "Optimization" is a more advanced tool to look for an optimum by the simultaneous change of several parameters. The steps are chosen by LabelMover. est celui de LabelMover. "Tolerance Analysis" helps you to identify the critical tolerances by a statistical analysis such as production specifications. With a good level of confidence, it allows to limit the number of simulations too.

These three tools are perfectly integrated as their
interfaces are identical. The choice of parameters is easy and results visualization are immediate : by table or graph.

Serial Analysis

serial analysis

Serial Analysis allows you to generate series of QuickField problems with parameters variations.
  • All QuickField problem type
  • Coupled problems (electrical circuit included)
  • Independant changes of geometrical elements
  • Material properties changes
  • "Set to", "increase by" or "increase by %" values
  • Numerouss available results
  • Detailed view of each step in one click
  • Advanced functions

Optimization

Optimization

LabelMover Optimization allows you to optimize the geometrical positions and sizes of the model parts or its physical properties.
  • goal types : "Maximize", "Minimiz"e and "Close to"
  • The variables available are the same as in postprocessor
  • Variations available are the same as Serial Analysis
  • Direct visualisation of solution which is highlighted through a single clic
  • Max run settings

Tolerance Analysis

tolerance analysis

Tolerance Analysis is based on statistics according to normal distribution.
  • All QuickField problem type
  • Variation specs in accordance with a nominal value and tolerances
  • Two types of variation : properties and geometrical
  • Results as histograms
  • Statistical summary with rejection ratio

Interfaces

interfaces

Choice of parameters is done by brosing through the problem you have chosen to solve. You can easily chose physical, geometrical properties, transformations (translation, rotation...) and results to view.

You can launch LabelMover from QuickField

Among solved problems you can choose one of them and view its geometry, postprocessing window and even the contour you have created. The problem will be visualised in QuickField.
