Installation of QuickField on Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista requires administrative rights and privileges.

The hardware requirements remain the same as for previous QuickField versions:

Intel Pentium grade or compatible processor

RAM

64 MB of additional memory of usual memory for Windows OS normal installation of can improve performance for very huge problems.

Video

800*600 with 256 colors video system required,
800*600 with 16K colors gives you more comfort,
1024*768 with 16K colors recommended.

Mouse

Pointing device is highly recommended.

Peripherals:

Parallel port or USB port for hardware copy-protection key (for Professional edition only).

  • Thermal analysis: non linear and/or anisotropical properties, thermal sources depending of temperature, convective and radiative sources.
  • Stress analysis : elastical and/or anisotropical properties, distributed and concentrated charges, Von Mises, Treska and Mohr-Coulomb criteria, postprocessor.

For convenience, Quickfield™ is proposed with the following modules : DC magnetics, AC magnetics, DC conduction + Electrostatics, AC conduction, Steady heat transfer, Linear stress but also Transient Electromagnetics, Transient heat transfer for problems depending of time and of course coupling to import forces, torques into stress analysis and import heat sources into thermal analysis.
